Pay: $29.40/hour

Location: Colton, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (rotating weekends and holidays)

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement a plan of nutritional care based on an assessment of needs and consultation with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding appropriate nutritional care
• Document initial and ongoing patient nutrition assessment
• Formulate nutrition interventions based on each individual’s unique needs (including psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, bio-physical, educational, and age specific needs)
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjusts care based on patient response
• Participate in health team rounds serving as a consultant on nutritional care
• Provide education to patient/family based on identified needs
• Serve as an educational resource to nursing, physicians, and students

Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Foods and Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Acute care experience and knowledge in medical nutrition therapy and nutrition support preferred
• Must be able to pass background check (no felonies, misdemeanors, or DUI’s) and drug screening
• Must be able to provide verifiable past employment references
• Because this is a medical environment you will be required to show proof of immunizations which include : MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Current TB test (within the past year), Flu shot (optional)
