Licensed Vocational Nurses needed for long-term, temp assignments, at a correctional facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Pay: $23.00/hr

Hours: 6:30am – 7:00pm, every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Initial training will take place during the day shift.

Must be flexible. Shifts are open to change based on the facilities needs

Duration: Long-term, temporary

Job Duties

• Monitor patients’ health, check blood pressure, change bandages, insert catheters, chart, and other duties as assigned
• Provide basic medical care
• Will work under the directions of registered nurses and doctors
• Pass out large quantities of medication

Requirements

• Valid LVN license with the state of California
• Valid IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification
• Current BLS/CPR card
• Current Driver License
• 2 years paid experience in a mid-sized hospital, correctional facility, or rehabilitation center
• Experience dispensing large quantities of medication
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Have verifiable past employment references
• Must provide proof of immunizations including TB
• Majority of past experience should not come from Home Health
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. No felonies, misdemeanors, DUIs, etc.
• Willing to wait 4-6 weeks to pass background check
